For more than a decade, Capitol Television News Service (CTNS) has been providing television news rooms with coverage of State Capitol activities, features and major breaking stories in the region. Our staff camera crews and reporters cover the Capitol Monday through Friday preparing an average 4 to 5 stories daily. Those stories, VO, SOTs and occasionally package reports are fed via Ku band satellite from our headquarters in downtown Sacramento, across the street from the State Capitol building. Subscribers to the service get a morning rundown of the planned coverage. Around mid-day, a final rundown is sent out. Script and other information is provided in mid-afternoon. CTNS also sells stories individually from the feed or from our extensive library. We can feed these stories via Ku or C band satellite or via Vyvx.
